Dr. Cadavious Jones Honored as All-Star Faculty by Alabama State's Student Athlete Advisory Committee

Dr. Cadavious Jones, a respected professor of mathematics, was recently recognized as an All-Star Faculty member by the Alabama State Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The honor was bestowed upon him during a special ceremony at Monday’s basketball game against Southern on March 6, 2014.

The All-Star Faculty members were nominated and voted on by SAAC members based on their dedication in the classroom, engaging spirit, and superior knowledge of their subject areas. Dr. Jones' selection highlights his commitment to academic excellence and his impactful teaching methods.

Joining Dr. Jones in receiving this prestigious recognition were Professor Sara Kiser (Management), Professor Tracy Banks (Communication Studies), Professor Adarsh Kakar (CIS), Professor Michelle Foster (Mathematics), Dr. Robert White (Humanities), Professor Pamela Burns (Music), Professor Barbara Williams (Physical Education), Professor Jorja Bradford (Accounting), and Professor Carol Dennis (History).

The SAAC held a reception to honor the all-star faculty members before the halftime presentation, celebrating their contributions to the academic and personal growth of student-athletes at Alabama State.
