Dr. Cadavious Jones to Inspire 2023 DoD HBCU/MI Summer Interns

Dr. Cadavious Jones, Dean of the Division of Science and Mathematics at Rust College, continues to exemplify leadership and dedication to advancing STEM education. Recently, Dr. Jones was invited to speak with the 2023 DoD HBCU/MI Summer Interns, sharing his expertise and insights with the next generation of STEM professionals.



Dr. Jones' involvement in this initiative underscores his commitment to fostering educational growth and inspiring students in the STEM fields. By engaging with these interns, he aims to motivate and guide them on their path to becoming future leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.


In addition to this engagement, Dr. Jones has been presented with an exciting opportunity to attend the annual Department of Defense (DoD) workshop targeting Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Institutions (MIs). This workshop, scheduled for July 26th to July 28th in the DC area, offers valuable insights into collaboration and participation in STEM. While some workshops will be offered virtually, Dr. Jones' presence at this event will further highlight his dedication to advancing STEM education.
