Partnering with NASA to Highlight STEM Opportunities

Dr. Cadavious Jones, chair of the Alabama State University Lyceum Committee, recently partnered with NASA to host an introduction and discussion live stream video series called "From the Classroom to the Boardroom." The inaugural event was based on STEM opportunities at the space agency. The event featured Larry Mack, Deputy Director of the Office of Human Capital at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.

Larry Mack, a 1993 graduate, joined Dr. Jones to provide insights into the various STEM career paths available at NASA. The discussion aimed to inspire and inform students about the exciting opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at one of the world's leading space exploration organizations.

Dr. Jones emphasized the importance of such partnerships in expanding students' horizons and connecting them with real-world applications of their studies. By collaborating with NASA, Dr. Jones continues to demonstrate his commitment to providing students with access to unique educational experiences and career opportunities in STEM fields.
